Brief
Berlin-based artist Netanella Ohana presented I Had a One-Nightly Vision Where I Could Explore the Tension Between Meta and Morphosis as part of 48 Stunden Neukölln 2026.
One large scale embroidered work. Eleven illustrations. A shop window on Bürknerstraße as the exhibition space.
The ask: build an installation around the existing architecture; give each work its own presence from the street.
Challenge
The entire exhibition had to live within a window.
Limited depth. Fixed dimensions. Works moving between different scales and mediums.
The exhibition design was developed remotely from measurements, photographs and the architecture of the Berlin storefront. Every placement had to be resolved before installation.
Process
We mapped the window from measurements, then built the composition around sightlines from the pavement.
The embroidery established the scale. The eleven illustrations were distributed through the remaining space, creating separation between the works while holding them as one installation.
Alongside the exhibition, selected works were edited for reproduction and produced as postcards. The work moved from wall to printed object; something visitors could carry out with them.
Result
The installation was presented at 48 Stunden Neukölln in Berlin from 3–5 July 2026, with the storefront operating as exhibition space throughout the festival.
From the street, the works became part of Bürknerstraße. Seen through glass, passed on foot, encountered without entering a gallery.
A constrained site gave the work a public face. The postcard edition carried fragments of it beyond the window.
