Offering
Three ways Metis and Craft works with brands. Strategy shapes the foundation. Identity builds the visual system. Creative direction stewards both, season after season. Each engagement stands on its own; together they form the full studio practice.
Brand Strategy
Positioning, narrative, and the structural decisions an identity is built on, before a single visual gets made.
Strategy work often precedes identity, particularly for new and emerging labels defining their market position. The engagement delivers a positioning document and brand narrative, shaped around where a label stands in its market and where it is headed. These become the reference the studio and the client return to as the brand grows.
Typical timeline: three to six weeks.
Brand Identity
Logo, typography, colour, grid, and the rules that hold them together. The full visual system a brand runs on.
Built through Modular Brand Architecture, the studio's framework for identity in parts. Swap a piece, scale a piece, translate a piece into a new market; the whole holds. Identity work suits fashion labels, cultural institutions, and emerging brands building a visual system from the ground up, or rebuilding one that no longer fits.
Typical timeline: six to ten weeks for a focused engagement, eight to fourteen weeks for a full brand system with strategy and rollout.
Creative Direction
Ongoing stewardship of a brand's visual and verbal identity, across campaigns, collections, and new markets, season after season.
Creative direction stays with a brand, ongoing. Brands return each season, each collection, each campaign, to a studio that already knows the system. Metis and Craft works alongside an in house team as an embedded creative partner, or as the primary creative partner, depending on what a brand needs. Engagements are ongoing and scoped per season or per year.
