9099 is a forward-thinking fashion brand with timeless roots. Focused on sustainable materials and slow-consumption values, the brand offers elevated daily wear designed to last — in both style and quality. As they prepared to launch a new collection, we were asked to develop a campaign that could introduce their ethos through digital-first visuals that feel tangible and refined.
Planning
We began by identifying how to translate fabric-first design into visuals that communicate quality and intention at first glance. The campaign needed to feel clean, modern, and precise – But grounded in cultural memory.To do this, we referenced the decade embedded in the brand’s name: the 1990s. Not through cliché aesthetics, but through subtle visual cues pulled from fashion and commercial archives of the era. We were led by the ideas of editorial minimalism, precise styling, and framing choices that speak to sensibility over trend.
A white studio setup allowed for full focus on silhouette, material, and finish. Lighting was engineered to highlight details, stitching, weight & movement; Enhancing the tactile appeal across screen formats.
